The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is excited to offer both BEFORE and AFTER School Child Care and K+ at Sheridan Elementary for this school year. BAS hours are mornings from 6:30 AM 8:00 AM and afternoons from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM. Your child enjoys a program in the comfort of their school. The program provides a fun and safe environment and introduces students to activities that build on what they have learned during the school day.
YMCA staff implement curriculum in active learning centers, which inherently embodies the Indiana State Standards without duplicating the classroom. Daily topics include: Character Development

Social Competence and Conflict Resolution with emphasis on physical activity, group and individual work, and healthy snacks, your child will build on what was learned in class and practice caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Starting this school year your child may enjoy our Kindergarten Plus programs designed for half-day kindergartens. Our Kindergarten Plus programs give your child additional time to work on skills learned at school and socialize with friends.
