SCS begins Thanksgiving Break Wednesday 11/26.  Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving to all of our students and families.

Coach Schrank and the SHS boys basketball team start the season Wednesday 11/26 as they travel to Rossville for our first Hoosier Heartland Conference game.  Be there to cheer on the Blackhawks!  JV starts at 6:00 p.m. and Varsity tip off time is 7:30 p.m.  Go Blackhawks!

SHS and SMS Winter Sport pictures will be on December 2, 2014.  Forms will be distributed to coaches and will also be available outside Mr. Jones' office.

Pinkout Night Returns!  The SHS Girls basketball team will be raising money for the Megan S. Ott Foundation, which provides support for local families during their treatment for breast cancer.  Over the last 2 years, they've raised over $5,000.  They need your support again this year.  Purchase a Pinkout shirt from any player or at the bookstore for $10 or just give a donation.  Come watch the girls play on 12/9 as they take on Clinton Central in the annual Pinkout game.  Start time is 7pm and the presentation to the Ott Foundation is at 6:45.

St. Vincent Medical group will be offering echo screenings for our athletes for just $20 on December 9th from 5-8 pm at their North Meridian Professional Building.  Details can be found on our site under the Athletic tab.

Sheridan High School offers a variety of athletic opportunities to all of our students including soccer, volleyball, football, cross country, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, track and golf.  We are a member of the Hoosier Heartland Conference.

Sheridan's football program has been very successful, winning 9 Class 1A state championships in 1980, 1984, 1987, 1988, 1992, 1998, 2005, 2006 and 2007.  The Blackhawks were state runner-up in 1994 and 2008.
