Lifelines: A Program for Raising Resilient Kids

Sheridan Community Schools is partnering with Chaucie’s Place, a child advocacy organization in Hamilton County, to bring Lifelines to our 8th and 9th grade students. Lifelines is a youth suicide prevention program that teaches teens resiliency and to talk to a trusted adult for themselves or a friend.  Also that evening, Sheridan counselors and community partners will discuss how you can be a protective factor in your teen’s life and how to approach your teen to encourage open communication.


We invite you to attend a Chaucie’s Place Parent Night to learn more about the Lifelines program.  Sheridan Middle School will be hosting on Wednesday, October 29th from 6:00pm – 7:00pm in the auditorium.  This meeting is open to all parents and/or guardians of middle and high school students.  To learn more about Chaucie’s Place visit:
