I am honored to serve as the superintendent of Sheridan Community Schools. This is a special place! The outstanding academics, the extra-curricular curricular opportunities, and the outstanding special programs certainly make Sheridan Community Schools stand out, but what makes Sheridan Community Schools truly stand out is the caring culture. One of my favorite quotes is from Maya Angelou who said, “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” When you are part of the Sheridan school community you feel the caring culture!
I personally am proud to be part of this caring culture and community. I have made Sheridan my home, and I look forward to meeting all of you.
If you are new to the area, please come visit, and you will see first-hand what an amazing school system this is. If you are part of the Sheridan tradition, I applaud you for your part in making Sheridan Schools what it is.
I want all parents to know that we take the responsibility of educating your children very seriously. You entrust your most important possession to us, and we in turn promise to care for their safety, education, and general well-being while they are in our care. I also want you to know that we will not rest on our laurels. Your children deserve the very best, and we will strive every day to be better than the day before.
