Work-based Learning
Work-based Learning (WBL) is a vital component of Sheridan High School’s mission to prepare students for success beyond the classroom and meet requirements of the Indiana Diploma Seals. Through real-world experiences with employer partners, students apply academic knowledge, develop technical skills, and strengthen employability skills that are essential for college, career, and life. Students are encouraged to begin officially tracking Work-based Learning experiences as soon as their freshman year and throughout their high school career. If you are interested in Work-based Learning as a student, parent, or employer partner, please contact the Sheridan High School Office and ask to speak to our Work-based Learning Coordinator.
